REDUCE TIME BLINDNESS

Live life in integrity with who you really are.

"You can't manage what you don't measure". Many individuals with ADHD are time blind and overly optimistic about the time that they have available to them. This results in missed appointments, tardiness, overdue assignments which leads to increased overwhelm and anxiety. These aids will help you get a better handle on your time.

Time Timer

Time Timer

Combat time blindness with this visual aid. I use this for my work appointments as it enables me to get the best out the session and ensure I manage to cover everything in the time allotted. This literally shows you the time passing. Designed to increase self regulation.

Apple Watch

Apple Watch

Super useful for health tracking - steps, sleep, exercise you name it. It also brings health and wellbeing into awareness by offering breathing exercises and monitoring heart rate etc. Plus its a mini computer attached to your wrist that makes you feel like you’re part of the future.
Also, there are useful apps to track steps, sleep and encourage breathing exercises promoting health and wellbeing that individuals with ADHD don’t often prioritise.

Amazon Alexa

Amazon Alexa

Alexa enables you to set reminders in your own words and can help you create and stick to routines in the morning and evening to help keep you on track. I also love that you can have fun asking random questions and music requests. This particular model allows video calls too

Google Home

Google Home

Google Home is the same as Alexa in that it enables you to set reminders in your own words and can help you create and stick to routines in the morning and evening to help keep you on track. I also love that you can have fun asking random questions and music requests.
