Introducing The ADHD Advocate...

Updated: Oct 18, 2019

When you hire a Coach, an Educator or especially a Lawyer, you need to know that you are in safe hands.

My name is Stephanie Camilleri. I am The ADHD Advocate. I am a certified ADHD Coach, an Educator and an experienced Lawyer. I also have ADHD, as do my three daughters.

Before I decided to become an ADHD Coach, I was a Banking and Finance Lawyer working in some of the world’s top law firms and banks. The motivation to become a specialised coach grew from the frustration I experienced with my daughters in both Education and Healthcare. Through learning about my eldest daughter's ADHD, I came to recognise that I also had ADHD myself. I saw the lack of understanding about ADHD (particularly in relation to girls and women) and recognized that people simply needed more information.

When you know better, you do better!

I am a certified ADHD Coach trained by the ADD Coaching Academy (AAC) and I hold an ICF ACC credential.

I’m a Lawyer specializing in SEND advocacy and a Primary School Governor for SEND and Mental Health.

I'm also the Chair of Trustees of ADHD Action, where I help drive change and build "a future where every individual affected by ADHD and their families are understood and fully supported".

I am a passionate believer in the importance of correctly identifying ADHD and enabling those with an ADHD neurology to thrive. Failure to diagnose, misdiagnosis and/or failure to treat ADHD properly can have devastating consequences for both the individuals with ADHD and their families. I know this first-hand.

I have created The ADHD Advocate so that I can educate and inspire individuals to understand and embrace ADHD so that individuals with ADHD can start telling a new story about themselves and be in integrity with who they really are...
